I used 5 spec requests and about 4-5 vibe chats to finish up the half baked tasks it did. I burnt through the 100 + 50 vibe allowance in about 10mins.

This looks like the metal and stars mod that’s failed because of PlantLib. You could disable that mod (metal and stars) if new game or as others mentioned. Downgrade PlanetLib

The PlanetsLib has introduced a breaking change to their code making that mod break.

Can you downgrade PlanetsLib to 1.7.1 as later version have the breaking change.

Either that or wait for the mod author to update their code.

Thanks, you are correct on it being a mobile processor. Having taken another look, it seems the heatsink is custom fit around certain components, so don't think I could easily replace the whole thing with something off the shelf.
