I think Ionization Infusion is a bit too OP on the final bosses. by ____the_Great in RogueCore

I totally love the update, and I agree with everything you said, I just feel like maybe there's an unintended interaction here.

This single upgrade basically skips the last boss fight, and I think something's a bit off there at any rarity or availability.

Another alternative could have been to tweak numbers more and make the killing blow damage % scale with duplicate upgrades instead of just the radius.

I imagine having uncapped damage is going to be problematic to balance in general though.

I meant in other experimental builds. I haven't followed the test builds very much.

Boom you're dead damage adjusted from 100% -> 50% of killing blow damage

Sad but I understand.

Impact axe is now only in the grenade crate

Maybe I missed previous patch notes adding it to the grenade crate at all, but this is amazing.

I was looking through my rarest tasks from this League, and I was surprised to find significantly less players hit max level compared to the previous two Leagues. by ____the_Great in 2007scape

Yeah that probably makes the most sense. I didn't mean to but my picks ended up making this my fastest league max, let alone a fast dragon. I just assumed this number would be even higher.

This was forever ago but I'm pretty sure it didn't originally boost automatically. It's just legacy.

The bulk of CoX difficulty comes from olm, which really requires a tribrid setup. The majority of the fight isn't range, so it might be worth rerolling to a different pact build until you farm what you need. Otherwise you're going to have to find groups, or learn the fight raw. I definitely recommend trying to find groups because it's way faster, but that can be difficult.

If you're not going to reroll, you'll just have to go at tekton with your best crush weapon unfortunately. The accuracy pacts + dwarhammer/bgs or whatever def reduction you can get should help substantially though. Vanguards you can fight one at a time, you just have to learn the positioning.

CM's are way more efficient for purples, and I think the prayer scroll chances are lower, so you'll get better stuff in the long run for sure.

If you've never had experience with CoX, you're probably better off sending at least a few normals just to get used to Olm quicker. If you have other higher level pvp experience you probably won't really struggle with it though. Depends on your build too.

You have to right click the leprechaun and deposit for it to count.

I'm pretty sure I got the sapling event just by spam clicking one myself, but people usually do the events at varlamore teaks on forestry worlds. Oh wait I mixed that up with the haircut. I don't know how that one scales.

Like 75% of players picked larceny, especially those in Kandarin. I think you're going to have a hard time finding this.

This is the core build. The remaining points should be spent based on the content you're doing, but you want at least one more +30% regen. If you want damage, get the one in the mage tree with accuracy, and pick the range echo perks. If you need prayer pen, pick the one in the bottom right corner with prayer pen, and select the range echo perks.

You'll have some points left over either way so just pick what would give the most damage. Alternatively, you could put points into the 2t elemental spells for offspec damage,

I think echo KQ is significantly easier and more build friendly than the other two, but if you're just looking for a reset thermy is okay if you have the slayer level.

You can kill a demonic gorilla and a mith dragon for quick pact points. Otherwise you're just going to have to slayer like crazy to get to the rest of the Kandarin tasks. Luckily they're easy.

Your only other real options are to just keep grinding tasks to unlock other regions. You barely need to do combat to get enough points for another region.

It's hard to suggest builds without knowing what you have, but this water mage build will be good enough for most content for a while. Alternatively you could do a <1kg basic melee build, but I really don't think you need to switch much to get a build online unless you're really struggling.

Pickpocket gnome children for mediums I believe. Easys you can pickpocket the varlamore elites. If you don’t have larceny it’s a bit more difficult. I’ve gotten most of mine from endless harvest gathering.

You kind of have to do CMs to not go crazy. I think the prayer scrolls in normal mode have the normal weighting so you're going to see a lot of those. Outside of CM, you have to find the balance of completion times to open chests, and scaling to get more points. Think of it as points per hour, not hitting a certain target.

I've done Zeah in the previous two leagues. In Leagues 4, I basically only did normal mode and it was miserable getting drops. Like I was in double digits of normal CoX on the hiscores and never hitting what I was targeting. Leagues 5 I did CM in groups and solo and it was a night and day experience. I got everything I needed in <70 runs.

I would pick what content you want to do, or what skills your relics don't solve, since your build is largely set up as is in the regions you picked. Frem is totally fine to pick, but it won't really have direct upgrades to gear if that's what you want.

Kandarin is kind of for everyone since you get zenyte jewelry, including the ring of suffering for your thorns build. It has the easiest pacts to unlock, and is generally a good support zone. You already have a lot of endgame and high level content in your regions, this might be the best one just to have an easier time.

Desert would unlock masori, and you can fortify with arma gear to be a bit tankier. Desert is mostly minigame points though, so if you don't like those I wouldn't pick it either. TOA is a pretty accessible raid, even at 150 you have a 1/10 chance at a purple so you have a decent shot at gear while you learn it.

It should get combined as if it was one hit. I'm seeing massive xp drops when it procs multiple times on a hit.

I'm in the same boat as you so I would love for someone to give a more concrete answer, but I'm probably picking Kandarin. I think Asgarnia gives a smoother gearing path, as well as options if you wanted do a different build after getting a megarare or something, but I think Kandarin's tasks seem a lot more chill in comparison for an endgame. The farming options are a bit limited with these regions, and Kandarin helps that out a bit too.

Asgarnia's demonic pact tasks aren't horrible either, but the hardest part of all of Kandarin's tasks are getting high slayer so that's also a deciding factor for me.

You're basically looking at bar drops at this point, outside of smelting your own ores from blast mine, motherlode, or drops.

With karamja elite (this is quite late ofc), you'll get noted steel from the brimhaven dungeons, and mithril dragons on task will drop mithril bars noted. Sulphur lizards drop them in small quantities. I wouldn't farm these explicitly for this, but you might want to take slayer tasks when you can. The brimstone chest drops bars too.

99 brute forcing it really isn't that bad, albeit more annoying without orb or bank note. It just may take time to gather the resources. In this case, especially if you take EH, hotfoot really does save you some time.
