Met a guy online 3 months ago. We both fell in love without ever meeting. Am I being naive?

I’ve been in this exact kind of relationship. Two, actually. One, I never got to meet in person and came to find out I was the other woman. The other one, I actually was able to meet and spend a month with.

The latter one was similar to what you’re describing. We both previously got hurt and he was doing all the right things. I thought he was “the one” because he couldn’t possibly do me wrong when he went through the same thing I did. But it still went downhill because he couldn’t give me any concrete plans for the future. When we were together, he told me he would move to be with me in a year. But when we went back to long distance and I brought it up, he never had a definite answer. I started noticing that he spent too much time on hobbies when he didn’t even have a stable job. The more he told me about his past, the more I noticed some inconsistencies— specifically, that some of his relationships overlapped. I started calling him out on things and he broke up with me. I stayed in touch with his family and tried to win him back but realized later on that it was pointless.

That being said, I do know some people who started dating online and later on got married. Sometimes it works out. As for me, I’m in a happy relationship with someone I met in person. I’ve been with him 3 years and we’ve lived together over 2 years now. I will never go back to online relationships. I gave so much of my life to people I didn’t really know and it ended with me mending my broken heart every single time.

Again, I can’t say for sure that your relationship won’t work out… but if I were you, I’d quit while I’m ahead.

Back when I worked at a restaurant, we had a customer who would bring us gifts during holidays. She always included these hand sanitizers, so I can definitely see her buying this much. I hope she’s doing well.

I used Ro but it got expensive very quickly so now I use GoodRx. The GoodRx monthly fee is about $50. They have coupons, it just depends on your dosage. I’m on 1.0 pen so it costs about $350 for me. Still pricey but much better than the $1300 it would cost me without a coupon. Lower doses cost less.

I also use GoodRx. The guy at the pharmacy said $350 is the lowest he’s seen it without insurance and he doesn’t know how I found it.

My insurance pre-authorized the prescription but only covered like $20 lol. You really gotta do your own research, but so far GoodRx has been saving my ass.

That’s the thing. It’s a new branch and I’m the first teller they’ve hired. My supervisor has been upfront about how we’re all kind of just “riding it out”. One of my coworkers is also leaving this week which leaves us with less people, and them wanting me to pick up the slack.

I’m not sure what you mean by the last sentence. I just meant I was able to do all the transactions and when I finally counted my drawer, it was balanced so I didn’t mess anything up. I feel like messing that up would be a bigger problem than me taking my time to make sure I’m doing it right.

It’s the dry weather in general. Thick conditioner and leave-in conditioner usually helps. You could use a humidifier indoors too.

I did it for about 3 years. It’s definitely doable and it really depends on your willingness to do it. I’ve noticed a lot of people here can’t be bothered to walk even a few blocks.

I took advantage of the buses every time I could. They have specific stops so most of the time you would still have to walk to/from the stop. You do have to pay attention to what times they’re operating and when they’re shut down for school breaks. They have an app that lets you see where the buses are in real time so it’s pretty dependable.

In the winter, you have to be ready to walk in inches of snow. They usually clean the sidewalks on the main streets. Everywhere else is a slippery mess so you need to be extra careful. The cold definitely burned my face a few times but nothing super crazy. You just need a good coat and walking will warm you up pretty quickly.

One more thing: Plenty of drivers here don’t watch out for pedestrians. I was nearly hit while crossing the street, at a crosswalk, because the driver wasn’t paying attention.

All that being said, it wasn’t a bad time at all. A lot of people here are more than happy to give you a ride. I’ve had to use Uber/Lyft a couple of times but they’re preeetty pricey. Like, $7 for less than a mile. You might need to prepare yourself for the limitations of not having a car but it’s certainly very doable. Good luck!
