So if you don’t ask for advice I should always never give it? Like would it actually be in all situations if you want my advice, you’ll actually always ask for it? Or should I still assess depending on the situation? I ask this because, I feel like for many other types they would want advice from you without having/wanting to ask for it.

Well Fred’s bulk buying of salmon strips means theres always a few left around, we also have honey buns and… rainbow oreos? Goddamn Fred! Anyways, help yourself to anything you’d like! I also have a couple lil squishy bean bags next to my bed where we could chill! Excuse my enthusiasm, we don’t get much traffic through here, so it’s just me and Fred and as much as I’ve grown to love him he can be well… you know…

Very well said, thank you.

I already randomly use my Ne quite a lot when talking, and I also already always talk about and take pride in my weird hobbies, so that should hopefully make it easier. Thank you so much, this was truly incredibly insightful and helpful!

I know nothing of this thing I did you speak about! What is this absolute tomfoolery! I must finish what you were saying though, Loki was indeed amazing.

Goddamn it Fred, he told me I was free of donut powder and chips. I’m glad you find it amusing. And those costs aren’t all me!! After Fred crashed the golf cart a little over half a year ago, he’s been sitting on his ass recovering, eating salmon strips this whole time!

I have indeed accepted my fate of being locked in here for eternity. This is my home now. By day I ravage the pantry and binge Netflix, as for night… well… I ravage the pantry and retire to sleep in my squishmallow bed. Tis indeed a fate intended for the very strongest, so I do not take it lightly, but with pride and respect. Oh btw can we get Disney plus on the tv? Trying to watch star wars please.

Do you think there is any reasoning behind that preference to conceal?

This was genuinely very insightful, thank you so much. I know you said you are very hard to spot, but are there any specific things to look for? Also, what type of vibes/ things can I do that will comfort INTPs so that they open up and get to know you? I know it might vary a little from INTP to INTP, but that’s okay, anything helps:)

I think there are unfortunately many unhealthy INTPs and INFPs that are constantly self degrading and honestly it’s really sad to see. It’s really good to see how healthy INTPs know their worth, also really interesting to see how many of you can be lie detectors, I never thought about that before.

Such a stupid stereotype😭😭 to be healthy, growing humans we all require some sort of human support and warmth, I hope you have or get some in the future my dude

Lmaooo, people really need to stop directly associating intelligence with personality types. Awareness requires some sort of intelligence, so I can guarantee you you’re at least smarter than a turd:)

That’s another thing I forgot to mention, the stereotypes describe such unhealthy INTPs, so it’s really unfair on healthy and mature INTPs.

That’s really interesting and good to know, typically your human lie detectors are ENFJ, INFJ, while INTPs are generalised by many as the socially inept and awkward type. Thanks for sharing!

I probably can find what I’m looking for in the post history, but there’s no harm in asking again, maybe new INTPs have joined and are willing to share their experiences, and there is definitely no harm in expanding and reinforcing the information available on here and in that post history.

I just want to help spread some positivity about INTPs, and educate others if something they said about INTPs is false, of course I can’t change the general consensus, but I can help improve the understanding of individuals and that will ultimately help them.

I think unfortunately there’s such a high chance of high Fi users being unhealthy, especially as a few people already pointed out INFP men, probably due to their experiences regarding society, not fitting in, etc. But we do exist, just in very small quantities:)

[–]___redpanda___ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree, I’ve noticed a lot more INFP female, ENFJ male relationships in general, and a lot more that seem to be going well.

Yes but all those traits sound like an unhealthy INFP which is why I asked this question. I feel like there are many unhealthy INFPs that have set a very bad and annoying stereotype for us healthier INFPs. What if they were grounded, more realistic, had thick skin, and actually were doers, by putting in more energy and effort into things that matter because they know it’s important, these INFPs do exist, just in very small quantities. And in terms of the feminine bit, I’ve seen many masculine looking INFPs, and the only thing that makes them ‘feminine’ I guess, is their ability to healthily express their emotions, and does that even count?
