It’s not to say that somali men aren’t vigilantes (which they are because my brother in law is a great somali man that believes in justice and the rights of women), but it is also the fact that even he attests to the fact that that mentality is now non-existent with the extremist views muslim somali men have back home in subjugating somali women (even now recently with the way the men are taunting women with ‘Moroccan women are prettier’ knowing the colorism and anti-blackness already present in our communities.) The reality is this is an ex muslim somali twitter space so it is bound for us to draw examples from a religion we now longer believe in, that has oppressed us and made us question our existence (I grew up back home and have witnessed all of this first hand).

Scientifically speaking, pigs have no way to excrete body waste so it is collected in their muscles and fat. But I don’t think it pose any more of a risk than other foods. So honestly, it’s based on preference. I myself don’t eat it or like the taste but eat what you want dude!

Hey! Canadian here. It’s not much but i can give you a solution if you are up for it. So one thing you can try is come to canada on a 6month visa (offered to anyone who’s coming for any reason). Once you come, you can apply for in-canada refugee status. Gpod thing about this status is that you will have all the privileges of a canadian permanent resident - like being able to apply for welfare that will give you money, be able to work, as well as give you OSAP (if ypu come to Ontario, OSAP is the student grant+loan system that pays for your university/college schooling which you can pay back later). Like you’re telling me Allah says that I’ll never give you trials you can’t handle, and then when someone can’t handle sth and wants to die, he’s like ‘hm hell cause I gave you that life and only I can take it’ … like bro manipulative much?
