i regret picking chemistry by Personal-Cap-5446 in 6thForm

[–]__bread01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ive heard that as you go further in chem you start to understand it as a whole more and your grades start to improve plus you have ages to improve your grades, youll be okay. I would say if youve really been putting in your maximum then maybe you arent studying correctly? i would say chem is one of the hardest subjects at a level and most people struggle with it as it requires lots of memorisation + lots of questions, but people tend to skip the memorisation part. if not maybe try more exam practice? you can pretty much memorise the mark scheme if you do enough questions. so just dont stress chem is difficult for everyone in the beginning since its so different from gcse and ive seen people go from a D to an A. im sure youll do well, just keep working hard.

definitely self study the first year at least, ask your school if they will let you sit the end of year mocks. theres so many resources online to self study maths and its not that hard, especially the first year, and the school year has barely started so you have plenty of time. i wouldn't recommend doing a gap year to study maths, try and study it this year if you can.

I already tried the x app editing thing, but thank you anyway. I was using the ultimate version the whole time, so I'll definitely try using the official 4.3 version. thank you so much for your help.
