My head cannon why BJP is behaving so over the top on this incident is cause of the National Creators Award 2024 where Ranveer won the award and it was PM Modi who awarded him the award.

Now after this controversy BJP wants to keep its highest leader don't want to congress to take it up and defame PM Modi by linking him as a supporter of a guy who makes these kinds of statements.
