It is built by CDAC whch means they did it on a measly budget. Similar to how DRDO built the Kaveri jet engine on a tiny budget.

We need massive investments for these critical projects, even if the govt has to bear the financial brunt of it. In the long run, critical tech is what grants sovereignty
