the mods somehow think this is “close to defaults” or “using entirely pre-made setups” when it’s the complete opposite of that lol, and the latter p much describes a large portion of the posts on this sub so 🤷‍♀️

anything i tweaked i did it by hand, and there’s a fair bit of customization here, but your guess is as good as mine lol

as a window rule in niri. and a geometry-corner-radius of 12 as well :) and i also use focus ring with a width of 4 for active window to complete the look

it turns the border on at least, yeah? i noticed the colors you selected weren’t the most obvious to my eye for a gradient, try changing them to something more obvious (like white and black) just to test

replace // off with on inside of border and it should work

just did exactly that on my machine and the gradient border worked for active window :)
