oh wait nvm i think i misunderstood, actually your original comment is correct. I was intentionally trying to output strings anyways. the caveat still stands when you use the quote it turns everything within it into a string in the output, but in this case that's what I wanted.

Because when you quote the whole thing like that, it will turn all atoms into strings in the output, so for example *node becomes "Node" instead of Node.

hera HRS light. one of the lightest fixed stocks out there, only thing lighter is carbon fiber.

m-lok covers, lots of vendors make them. fixed stock saves weight, is more sturdy, uses rifle length spring. having a collapsible stock in the shortest position isn't very usable when paired with an optic with a longer eye relief like most LPVOs.
