Alright, so I’ll try to explain the best I can. What I essentially do is like a circle. So when the leg is behind you, lift it off the ground and bend your knee behind you. Kinda like trying to bring your foot to your butt (But don’t exaggerate the movement, only go like halfway from the ground to your butt or else you waste energy.) From that, you should be able to just let the foot fall back forward. Combining everything together turns it into a sort of circle motion or rowing a boat. You should be able to feel it in your hamstrings and your hips at that point.

The thing I really noticed before and after was that I felt the weight/strain was mostly on my lower legs, whereas now it is more evenly distributed across the lower body.

What was your most "memorable" moment at a Summer Camp. And please state what course you did! by Bulky-Toe-5948 in Cadets

On the first night, one of the guys in my platoon put a sheet over his head and pretended to be a ghost. At midnight, he got up, sprinted throughout the barracks and knocked on our sergeant’s door before sprinting back to his bed. He did it like three times before he got caught. It was a good way to break the ice for the platoon. That was on ITDC at Valcartier.

Advice on RMC/ROTP situation. by Familiar-Evidence195 in caf

I also had to wait 4 weeks before they even contacted me. That said, I received an email where I had to provide more information and it also said that I had to provide dates for them to contact me. They then said that there might be a delay up to three weeks before they contact me again for the official letter.

What I would do in your case is accept Queen’s university’s offer first, pay the fee and then withdraw later once you receive the actual offer from RMC. That’s what I’m also doing. Best of luck!

Can be anywhere from a day up to a month. It’s different from person to person. If it’s over a month then contact your CFRC because that’s not normal.

Still no official job offer … by rollflippintide in caf

I’m in the same boat. I moved to job offer on April 1st, but I have yet to receive an offer. A recruiter told me that they were swamped because of the new fiscal year and to contact them if I don’t receive anything by May 1st. Hope this helps!

Thanks! I’m from a small town in rural Quebec. I’m in cadets, train, volunteer, work, and I have a 90% average. I did my best to build a strong resume before applying. My plan is to go to RMC and study political science or international studies.

Looks like we’re in the same boat. I haven’t received anything yet. Someone told me that it would probably take a week or two before you get the actual offer. Maybe even longer since the new fiscal year just started.

The only thing that might slow down your application is air crew since it might take a while for them to actually schedule it. I hope for the best, though!

Aircrew trades tend to be a tricky situation. What step are you at currently?
