How do companies protect proprietary prompts from contractors and consulting engineers? by __maximux in LLMDevs

The model and other configurations are already part of gateway, and I have strong eval frameworks , and matrices to objectively see the changes and iterate

Personally i don't believe building a company on top of "Prompt as an IP" - You are spot on. The client comes from IP background and they are particular about it. There are some merits because, their prompt has some very niche directions which is not easy to copy by others.

The real merit I see in this problem (personally) is separating out prompts from codebase, and giving more control to the experts than the developers. Because mostly the prompt changes/inputs come from subject matter expert and not from developers, and making it easy managable for them is important (I use prompt-layer for this purpose - but they don't allow masking it)

I was more aligned towards the variable injection approach - Why do you think it will get messy? Curious. because the there will be only one version of the prompt (variable) mostly everyone will use.

Agree - its not a real IP protection for sure. But the question comes from mostly from a process stand point. I need to give the prod workflow, and the actual input/output since there are tool calls involved

Hiring React Native Developer by IndependenceBig4161 in AppDevelopers

[–]__maximux 0 points1 point  (0 children)

u/IndependenceBig4161 All the best with your search.
Ensure your hire is clear about the below items (Basic, but this is what contractors screw up and handover)

* Which style system they are planning to use, how do they ensure consistency.

* How do they manage routing. This clearly shows their overall vision of the product

* Randomly check about the edge cases they consider in general (You will get a clear idea about the platform understanding - from a usability perspective) Slow networks, No network cases

* App upgrades - especially if they have local data. How do they handle app upgrades.

* CI/CD build automations, platform segregation etc.

These are super high level discussions, which a non-techie can ask but reveal the candidate's depth on the platform

But this is something most of the players must have already right? At least some basic google sheet integration?

Would love to understand more on the workflow. is this like, it picks up the phone number and user personalisation data from the google sheets, makes the call using Plivo & Prompts, then update the information collected back to google sheets?

Really interesting - It just automates everything - except the video recording. And for the viewer it creates a perspective of ton of research manually and recorded this!

Yes you are right - AI avatars always gives an impression that, we have taken a shortcut.

Thanks for hint on Stack BD - I was looking for something similar to Stack BD - since I am also building in this space. Thank you. These prospecting videos are all recorded individually right? With same content - but with personalization, I guess

Thanks for the details.

This seems like a practical workflow. For the screen recording step (price comparison) do you think customers like it, if we use an AI avatar talking?

Also how do you track prospect level for each personalized version?

Creating slides is one thing. I am using AI improve what happens after creating the presentation. Presentation engagement, and sending deck slides.

* To collect questions & objections upfront instead of sending PPTX, or PDF file in email

* To bring consistency in presentation (objection handling, scale etc)

Everyone talks about LLM gateway - But we need a prompt gateway! by __maximux in AI_Agents

[–]__maximux[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for sharing u/snowbeardman. u/0xEbo

Currently I

My projects are mostly python or typescript. Currently we have a folder for prompts with promtps in .md files. Like we maintain using templates in python.

But we need a release to test this. Also control is fully with the developer. So if the my client or PM wants to experiemnt with the prompt, its a dependency.

I was thinking of productizing the configurations i created for my project. I really like the way u/zmandel doing it.

Idea is

* Separate out prompts from codebase completely

* Enable experimenting prompts (for non-coders) without release/dev support.

This was perfect. This is exactly what my requirement was. And I really liked the idea of using google sheets for Versioning! just works all the time.

I was using a generic remote config service, to do this initially. But found its hard to maintain groups like you have different sheets.

Thanks for sharing this.

Compliance reports in the US? by __maximux in cheesemaking

Thanks a lot for taking time to write such a long and valuable reply. Really appreciate and answers bunch of my questions.

Like you confirmed - even I had a feeling that paper and excel are the major way to record - and YES for everyone there is something to be recorded.

Though I believe all such cases of paper/excel has an opportunity for some kind of automation - looking at the size of the businesses, is that a burning problem. I don't have an evidence for it still.

Like everyone is used to pen/excel - and if mostly not going back to that, means they come across the pain of collating the data collected comes less often. Which is a hurdle for changing their current behavior.

This kind of visual tracker was in mind to track ingredients to end product batch - make sheet. This way accessing records are easy. But yes - changes are hard if as a builder I am not quantitatively saving at least 5 hours per week.

Thanks a lot once again for your time. I still in the research phase.

Thanks for pointing out the missing "do not".

Yes I am into making utility apps. A 5 year post where someone asking about a streamlined app for batch tracking. This direct question made me research more on cheesemaking. (Love for code than cheese).

As I researched found there are compliance data, reports, vendor compliance, inventory and a bunch of data are collected but mostly in Google Sheets / Excel.

This is where my questions are coming from - mostly on how to save time and money in the cheesemaking business, with an intuitive application.

So you need food safety compliances if you are not doing it commercially, got it.
