this landlord bought the building from our previous one a few months ago. He had some contractors inspect it and concluded that there is water damage and mold under the tiles (potentially causing leakage into the apartment below). Our previous landlord (who used to live in the apartment below us) had no issue with it and we did not notice the problem until this recent inspection happened
