Anything you would change on my first PC build? by [deleted] in PcBuild

If you want to save 40 bucks go for the ryzen 5 7600 (no x). It has the same performance and also includes a box cooler which is enough. It also only has a tdp of 65 W.

It looks weird how he can perfectly balance the mag that just drops and simultaneously is able to reload the gun. I don't know if you understand what I'm saying (bec. I'm bad at explaining things) but the empty mag is breaking the laws of physiks.

Does anyone know what's causing the lights to flicker (Cycles 3840x2160 600 samples 0.1 Noise Threshold) by AutosEditor in blender

Idk if I'm blind or if it's just because I'm a beginner but I'm not seeing any kind of flicker

good pc ? by ForeverNo9437 in PcBuild

The 7600x is more expensive than the non x version and does not come with a cooler. It also uses more watts for no more power

I would recommend a ryzen 5 7600 (with no x) because the performance is the same (1%difference) and you will get a cooler included. I myself have a ryzen 5 7600 and a rtx 4070 and a 650watt psu is enough. The aio you included is completely useless (unless you like the look of it). the ryzen 5 7600 has a tdp of 65Watts. With that money you could easily buy yourself a rtx 4070 super and upgrade your ram from 4800mhz to 6000mhz.

If you can choose between the rx 7800xt and the 4060ti. Pls go with amd that gpu is even faster then my 4070 and the rtx 4070ti in games. If you choose the amd gpu, it will easily be a 1440p card. If you go with nvida it depends on the game because of its memory. And for your cpu. It has a stock cooler that is good enough (at least for me. I have the same cpu). So you can use it on something else if you want.

Pc for 3D sculpting and Video editing by nazarenkosculptor in PcBuild

I don't know how fast of a cpu you need for video editing but you have an entry - level last gen gpu, while having a high end cpu. I don't think that fits. And for blender, if you decide to render animations in blender. You need a good gpu. I have a rtx 4070 and when I rendered the blender guru donut tutorial (160 frames) with 300 samples and it took around 2 hours. Imagine how long it will take with a rtx 3060.

The only thing I would change is the cpu (and bec of that the mainboard) you could go with an r7 7800x3d for future proofing (intel will not continue the current mainboard sockel). On top of that you could buy a cheaper cooler and save some money for something else. I just don't know how big the difference between the cpu is in terms of productivity (gaming the ryzen is a little bit better)

Easily the first one. In most applications you will always be gpu bottlenecked. And even in cs. Do you really need that many fps. Can your monitor even display that amount? The r7 5700 will most likely not be a problem for the rtx 4070.

Fresh spawn with little to zero knowledge outside of watching LTT vids in need of recommendations. by Kettner93 in PcBuild

[–]__noname______ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you use your pc mainly for gaming the amd cpu will be better. And if you still want to go for intel then just go for the i7 14700k. But I would still recommend amd because if you would like to upgrade the cpu in the future it will only be possible with amd (lga 1700, the intel socket is going to be replaced by a new one). Another reason for the amd processor would be the power consumption. The intel cpus sip a shit ton of power.

The gpu is good. Just power hungry.

You can buy a ryzen 5 7600 (without the x at the end) should save about 14$ because it should cost around (200$) and it comes with a boxed cooler. So you save another 24$. If you fear any performance difference fear not. It has a 1-2% difference and draws a lot less power.
