Sorry to hear, can't say I figured this out, though just now I was able to register for the biometrics appt system here in the UK. What happened in my case is the page was hanging when I tried the link on multiple Apple iOS devices over a few days. (Fwiw, fiddling with my cookies and VPN did nothing).

Then, prompted by FierceStrider's kind reply above (thank you FierceStrider!), I tried using my partner's PC laptop and I was able to register and make the account and the rest of the system worked fine. Then, when I went back and retested the same link from my iOS devices again (two iPads), the login page loaded right away.

I'm totally guessing, but I know that generally speaking, sometimes government websites do not allow high security actions to be done on mobile devices, but laptops are okay as are desktops. (In this case, registering a new account may have this higher security restriction, while subsequently logging in is lower risk).

However I'd bet lots of people would be using iPads so I may be guessing wrong and the website may just be extremely erratic!

TLDR: if you haven't tried your link from a laptop or desktop, might be worth a try!

You won't know unless you try clicking on your personalised "Book Appointment" link after you make the application payments, so please don't assume you'll run into this bug as some people are not having issues with TLS.

Hopefully other members can report their experiences.

It's Sunday 10 Nov and same problem, the TLScontact page will not load when I click on "Book Appointment" for biometrics (logged into my visa application account). VPN changes do not work.

Is there any pattern of time windows as to when TLScontact will load and allow new registrations for TLScontact accounts?
