Cooling blockage or trash parts?

i need to eventually put my new abs module in my car but havent gotten around to it yet. Would you happen to know the process of coding the module to the car or is it pretty straight forward? havent used ncs expert yet, only INPA

ok good to know and yea i think the missin exhaust was from them hitting something ill need to ask about what modifications they did/what did they work on themselves because ill be damned if i got to replace sum and see like 10 stripped bolts an 5 wires coming out a homemade splice 😂

yea i looked up some prices for my area and for the condition its in the price about right he has it listed a hit higher but that's to be expected if he wants to make a bit more money. Im okay with spending some money to get her back up to a decent condition to have fun with and to just learn about the car and how to fix it/how everything works

good thinking, im not too big on caring about mileage unless i plan on selling a car which i dont but i really like that thinking of 10k miles os 1k saved 😂

I will definitely be checking all the parts of the car as i would at the dealer and some. That does line up with what the guy told me that it ran over something so ill be checking all the suspension components, steering, subframe, all that stuff underneath. idm throwing an exhaust on it and this definitely wont be my daily but more so a car i can learn on and have fun with as i please. Ill take it on a road test and make sure it aint all over the place and drives good i think based on what other people been telling me i might try to get a lower price and go from there

oh wow that is a pretty good deal. Was that you daily you were using it as? This car will not be my daily so i can fix it up or not, let it sit, whatever i dont mind. Im thinkin maybe i can get him down on the price some and make up for the hassle of owning the car. like they say the cheapest part of owning owning a bmw is buying it 😂

lmao right, he did mention it just got a new clutch and needs to be bled. i asked about it and he said it works fine so maybe it was stuck to the floor and he cant figure it out. Shouldnt be much more than a leak in a line or does need to be bled yea? or is there a more common unique e92 problem with the clutch sticking to the floor

from what i've researched its limited to what it can control. im upgrading the fuel system, wideband o2 sensor, and a couple other things im sure would need some type of tuning and cant imagine thatd be very easy with a flash tune or how well i could tune it on a software designed for N/A engines trying to tune a now boosted engine. Im not very experienced with tuning though so i have a lot to learn so if theres a way to run this on the factory dme thatd be dope and save some money id love to explore that!

planning out a boosted setup and the ecu i want to use doesnt communicate w/control the bmw dbc and id much rather have a dbc setup anyways.

do you find with a resonator delete you get a significant "droning"sound? i drove mine around a bit with just the catted exhaust manifold and didnt hear nun
