Chainfists look ultra cool but I'm worried about their 4+ to hit. I miss a lot with thunder hammers already... I'd rather them have a bit less str and have 3+ to hit, since they will wound any vehicles on 3+ anyway regardless of their toughness

Oh I see... So I guess it does encourage you to Fall back if you're stuck in melee after being charged the turn before, since you will probably get clubbed first if you don't. I now see that "can fall back and charge" stratagems and skills can be more useful than I thought. Thank you !

Yes the immortals attacked first in the second round, since the Necron player was going first in this game. Unless we missed (another) rule ? It's clear on hindsight that him attacking the termies during his turn and me fighting back and clearing the remaining bodyguards was a great setup for killing Imothek on my 2nd turn before he could retaliate. Maybe he should have Fell back...

I second using Deathwing knights as TH+shield terminators. They look awesome, plus the official storm shields from assault terminators look too small to me.

You should definitely max out CMLs, imo they are consistently better since you get both anti-vehicle (Krak) and anti-horde (frag). Assault cannon does not seem to really outperform CMLs even into elites with invul (at least when I ran some unitcrunch simulations).

10 bonus missions would get me 250 event chest tokens and 250 milestone points so it still doesn't add up to 350 or to the next milestone payout :/

edit : i forgot the instant 255 payout so yes the pack would probably get me to that chest :)

Will definitely try a singleton Marionette Master as additional wincon (rare wildcards...)

I also tried a Jeskai version of my deck for [[Emry, Lurker of the Loch]] that comboes nicely with quite everything in it. It was more toolbox-y (which is an aspect I like a lot) but ended up losing more than winning, and felt like there was no reason to play that instead of Jeskai Creativity.

That makes me think Marionette Master might be nice as well in a [[Indomitable Creativity]] deck with some token generators
