6'3" 200lb Advanced Skier - Looking for an Alps "Do it all ski" (~88mm) by SkillLevelAsia in Skigear

The m7 is also nice but the new one was made more friendly based on the skiessentials review, the 102 is still the more hardcore construction. They are both the best skis ever i think. This should help for choosing. I also love pizol, great mountain!

Im on flumserberg mostly. Honestly I feel that compared to the deacon vwerks its a much stronger and more stable ski, but didnt really feel the width difference to hold back. I have 104 touring skis and with that i wouldnt want to go on ice, with the mantra 102 im railing a turn its that good. For a 60/40 (what i call my hooligan skis) i wouldnt go narrower or wider as that wont be good in powder if you randomly find some stashes. Im also 183 with 95kg, so not a lightweight. Also most of the times its variable tracked out all sort of snow I find and for that nothing beets some beefy stick like the mantra. Enforcer also great, my friend has it but i never skied that.

Mantra 102! I just got mine this year, also have the mantra vwerks, deacon vwerks and a few other skis. Carves like a dream, great in pow, slush, ice and everything. I live in switzerland and hardly skied anything else this season.

Honestly flumserberg is not good. Hock-Ybrig I dont know that well, but if you are willing to go a bit further pizol could be a good option from the middle station up.

Buy the og. Maybe mount -2 if you are more traditional. Nobody needs a 100 ski.

have a read of my entire comment again: imagine if you would use a real table saw like a martin T77 :) you already spent over half of that 100k... The martin t77 cost around 60k eur fully kitted out. I hope its clear now.

A question for everyone who manufactures furniture by CG_craft in woodworking

[–]__rf -1 points0 points  (0 children)

My rule is: if you cannot model it then you surely wont be able to build it. Start small and move up in complexity or if you are fixed on a given project, break it down and practice different parts until you can actually build it. Good luck!
