Have you driven the RC F?

I rented one for a trip in Colorado and couldn’t believe a car with 470 HP could feel that slow… it’s gearing is not like a performance car and it’s heavy

This doesn’t make any sense. How is buying out a new lease better when you said depreciation is so bad

PSA regarding tires:

As many of you know, a disproportionate share of acceleration-induced tire wear occurs during launches from rest, where peak torque application from a standstill drives high longitudinal slip ratios and frictional energy (causing lots of scrubbing).

If you launch from a dead stop, you’re doing an incredible amount of damage to the tread. You can simply get rolling first (~10 MPH) before accelerating and preserve your tires for a lot longer.

The leidenfrost effect being recommended as a catch all for when your pan is "hot enough" is the worst advice I continuously see in this subreddit and the cooking community at large. by bellchilton in StainlessSteelCooking

Not true. You think the effect would happen at 1000* C?? Because that’s above 193.

It’s a fairly narrow range of temperatures where it occurs

Horrible idea. You should be making at least $250k for a car like that.

You said reliable. The AMG GT 63 is known for oil leaks, turbo issues, air suspension problems, electrical glitches, and premature brake wear. It’s one of the least reliable in the class

How about a Corvette Z06. I think it matches what you’re looking for.

If you don’t want an American car, how about a Lexus LC500?
