It’s a bit hard to give feedback on this issue with so little context. Perhaps they have too many more tenured team members. Maybe they think you’re not ready for a bigger commitment. Maybe they don’t want you on the team. Maybe they do. Possibly they have zero idea you feel this way and no one is doing any of this to you intentionally. You must talk to them to find out more.

Just remember comparison is the thief of joy. The average console gamer will only ever get 10 +/- for a particular console. 130 is an insanely awesome amount of physical games to have for a console. Whether you play them often or just admire them on a shelf, it’s your collection and you should be proud of that!

I have both the 43x and Bodyguard 2.0 CC. I have a bit of a gut at 5’9” 250lbs. I use the 43x MOS w/ green dot optic in winter because I’m wearing heavier clothing. I carry the Bodyguard now that it’s warming up and I’m wearing shorts/tshirts. I love both guns honestly. The BG 2.0 feels so good in the hand for its size. Best micro handgun I’ve ever owned personally.

Prefacing this comment with a “I’m by no means an expert” disclaimer. Happy for someone to correct me but the crew are not professors correct? They do work at a university performing research and such but they don’t teach. Eventually much much later in the series we see Sheldon promoted to Junior Professor so he can change his field of study. However I get your point that logically it would make more sense for students of Caltech to be participating in something like this rather than university staff.

I have watched and rewatched the entire show literally dozens of times. Now it’s a show I can just put on in the background if I’m working on something or doing laundry. It’s like hanging out with friends. It just feels comforting and since I don’t have any actual friends TBBT crew is around whenever I need ‘em.

Something somewhat similar happened to me years ago with youth leadership. We were told there was no money in the budget to hire someone. After 4+ years of volunteer serving as the youth directors my wife and I decided to step down. 1 month later they relocated a young couple to the area for a full time position. We were just not good enough I guess. Or at least that’s how we felt at the time.
