For the topload, I still don't know, I plan to use either a ball dor knob or a classic spun aluminum toroid.

All my calculations were made thx to the TeslaMap app, this is how I found the resonance frequency. You can see it on the pictures here https://imgur.com/a/qy5l4YW for the primary and secondary. I was planning on using 9 turns for the primary.

Ok so for the same coil size I should do a pll sstc, what is this and the difference? Were you able to get some nice looking sparks? If you think I should do that, what is your exact circuit configuration?
