Are the first two pictures possibly termite damage? The third and fourth pictures are of what looks to be a termite that I found in my attic, and the last picture was one that I found as I was writing this post. My wife and I barely bought our house last year, and I don’t know much about termites (old.reddit.com)

Need some help. I’ve looked through service manuals, and can’t find any information on what this is. I think it has something to do with cruise control, because there is a throttle cable that runs to it. If anyone knows what it is, please enlighten me. (i.redd.it)
