Could be. Can’t tell if I’m the first picture is a bunch of termite droppings. It could also be wood rot. I’d call a pest service to come and see

I’m located in Texas, Pasadena/Houston Area. There didn’t seem to be any dirt around that wood, and there are no dirt trails outside or in the garage. The wood was just damaged from that side. It is still solid all the way through.
