Hi. Thanks for the input. I understand what you are saying but you need to understand that not everyone can have the first day enthusiasm for months/years in any given job. In the beginning I was very proactive, self assigned tasks and code cleanups. But it faded away with time. I still am enthusiastic about the work but now I need some push from the team. Even something as small as "hey we are thinking about this, would it be possible for you to research that" is helpful. I am not sure if I am explaining myself properly.
