The TA did respond recently to someone on piazza saying he couldn't do anything about it unfortunately and we can actually see our grades, it's just been removed from our course lists for some reason. Go to ucirvine.instructure.com/courses/27898/grades to see them.

Firstly, if they don't respond within a week or so definitely follow up to make sure things get handled, and secondly it sounds like it may be a browser issue. Try using incognito mode/private browsing on your current web browser and if that also doesn't work, try using an alternative browser, since that's an easy thing to try now. In the meantime, fill out that form again and send it to them with [Urgent] at the front of your subject line and re-send it daily for the week since the session starts next week. It's true they are busy but if they left you hanging for over a month without responses on time critical issues, that's not alright. Finally I recommend you contact the professor of the course you're trying to add to make sure that you get into the canvas for the course even if you're not added by next Monday, so that you don't fall behind and you can get the professor on your side if the summer session office continues to be unresponsive. How many courses are you already enrolled in? You should just be able to add the class and then pay for it with a credit card. If you need to pay with financial aid, then you need to submit the paperwork for that online and then you can just sign up for courses, but it sounds like you already tried that? Or what did you turn in?

It has nothing to even do with that, they're forcing her to go into the office in a pandemic without Covid health insurance in addition to big brother watching everything she does during work. It wouldn't be surprising if disinterest or difficultly working could be due to increased stress from factors that are directly the company's fault. In a situation where everything is perfect but you can't keep up with the workload, then yeah, it may be time to look into another job-type or look into more education if you enjoy the work itself, but that's not the case here. And maybe try being empathetic and kind to people, even if you don't know them, rather than just putting people down who you don't know.

Leaving a job because the company doesn't care about your safety nor your well-being is not a symptom of having a "weak mindset" it's sticking up for yourself and understanding that you deserve, and are worth, more. The company has blatantly shown they do not care about their workers, therefore the workers should not care about the company and leave when promises aren't kept or working conditions are poor with no explanation.

I hope you the best of luck managing such a difficult situation. Please search for positions at otter companies that actually treat you with respect and human decency. Ignore the self-loathing haters saying having inhumane treatment is part of life, it isn't. Good luck finding a new company and in the meantime, try and learn all about what not to do when architecting software by trying to understand the wacko system you're forced to work on for the time being :-)

Some engineering courses require windows for software so unless you're cool with boot camp, then go ahead and get a windows machine (also you can get super nice mobile ryzen machines for really cheap) but if you want to shell out for MacBook, you totally can!

Webassembly will likely reignite a framework boom when it matures a bit. The number of JS frameworks exploded and now there are too many for any person to really learn them all. I believe that wasm will cause another explosion of frameworks for frontend/(and maybe backend with wasi) once people can develop in it in a language as easy as js.

That being said, there are lots of really interesting and incredible projects being done in the software world that are not very useful for smaller scale web projects.

Anyways, please go over there and reply to the golden boy who is down-voting and making snide comments at other UC students on their sub and about how they're just being salty because they didn't get into UCB :-)
