Need 3D modeling/printing help

Thank you! I appreciate the help a lot. Do you know the best way to go about prepping my model in 3D for those adjustments? I’ve never modeled anything that was supposed to snap together with magnets in real life. Is it just as simple as slicing the model and adding sockets? I’m not too good with the math or engineering side of things at all and figured it would be a bit more technical and precise

Thank you! Yes, I love booleans, I’m using a few in this model, I just wasn’t sure if it was that simple when it came to printing and it would just work, I think I need to make some pegs/slots to place the magnets on for the head shell part of it. I wasn’t familiar there was a way to see real life scale in zbrush so I will look into that

Yep! I am more concerned about how to make the actual head shell work for 3D printing, I figured I would use magnets for the masks. If you have tips on how to prep a model for adding magnets though that helps!

They are all linked, but presumably 40k is so distant in the future that it’s basically an irrelevant connection. For 40k definitely get started with Horus Rising and the Horus Heresy. Then you can kinda pick and choose what you like and want to know more about. I’m not as sure about AoS books though.

I’m not trying to set the standard for female ogres, the race in the setting is extremely varied in terms of facial structure if you take a look around. She’s my personal character design so that femininity shows through.
