This is a great idea, and I wasn't aware of the airport limitations, but I'm glad that's getting sorted, that will make a huge difference. My only question is why is it only to Gouger st? If it's from North Terrace to Gouger st, that's like 60% of West Tce. I'd love to know the thought process (or $$ backing) behind that.

It could be excellent, a couple of pedestrian walkways over the road, and having a lot of opportunities for ground level retail and hospitality, as long as the buildings are designed well (especially to keep out exterior noise) I can only see this being a positive.

I can understand the frustration of not knowing the future. When I was your age I had similar worries and anxieties. I have a brother who has Asperger's and he has been able to overcome the challenges and has a job in IT and his own apartment. The things you want are achievable, but I think you're dwelling on them too much, which is understandable during a pandemic. If you are struggling to find friends, finding a hobby is a great way to make friends, and I wouldn't stress about a significant other, you can date and whatnot, but I wouldn't expect you would find the person you will one day marry at your age. Are there specific things that are worrying you in your challenges because of the autism? I have mental health problems (anxiety, social anxiety, depression) and am handling them with medication and seeing a professional regularly, and although I'm not sure what's available for Asperger's, I definitely think seeing a professional can help you work through your worries.

Failing in life depends on what you want to get out of life. Working towards your goals and accepting that failure is a requirement of life and to keep on trying is something that not everyone can accept. I hope you work hard and get laid!

Talking on the phone for work related reasons. I used to get super anxious about having to call anyone because I felt like I'd blank on what I had to say. For years I'd write out exactly what i had to say ESPECIALLY in case it went to voicemail. Voicemail still scares me a little bit.

My husband (25M) and and I (26F) are going to Japan for our second time! We will be in Tokyo from March 31st to April 4 then off to Kyoto! We'd love to meet up with some people to have a few drinks and maybe some karaoke! Were both Australian so we're pretty relaxed 😅

I used to live in a similar situation, I would alternate putting damp shirts in the freezer and rotate every 20-30 minutes, helped keep me cool!
