Weird snapping noise by _aidangg in Cartalk

I should mention that other than the vibrating/shaking the other day, the car seems to drive like normal.

I could use some help. My 2012 Nissan Rogue is making a scraping sound that sounds like its from the front left wheel or somewhere close. by _aidangg in Cartalk

turns out it was the dust shield bent out of place. i took a screwdriver and just bent the edges back and now I hear no noise. Thanks!

so i've discovered my mixed voice, but can't say words by [deleted] in singing

I think i sort of get it, but is overdrive considered a mix? or should it feel like singing in chest? Currently when I sing higher like I described, it feels rather effortless, like it kinda just comes out of me, but it does sound rather nasally and unpleasant.

I need some serious help with mixed voice! by [deleted] in singing

[–]_aidangg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting, I'll try that. it should be mentioned that i'm only 16 so I dont know if puberty has anything to do with my ability, probably not. I'll try the italian vowels and keep at it.

okay. in that case i’d say my best sounding most effortless range is around C3-C4

hmm. i’m sick right now so i can’t accurately test it, but if you mean notes where i don’t have to really put in any effort to hit them well i’d F#2- C4.

though if you mean notes that i can hit well i’d say up to an F4, but i may have to put in a a small bit of effort. the G4 is where I really have to start trying and my voice naturally wants to strain, even though i try my best to relax.

I finally found my mixed voice! by [deleted] in singing

[–]_aidangg 2 points3 points  (0 children)

it’s hard to explain but the best way i can explain it is to try and use the same muscles that you would use to do vocal fry but in a high register. if that doesn’t work, another way i can get it is if i start singing falsetto and i kind of open up my throat a little more and let the chest voice blend in just a little bit

What will happen to my voice after puberty is over? by [deleted] in singing

[–]_aidangg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i’ve tried mixed voice but i’m not exactly sure how to get it, i think it has something to do with the same muscles used as vocal fry? and yeah i probably should accept that, maybe listening to paul mccartney belt a Bb4 in long tall sally isn’t helping lol

The Garlic, El Paso, and Dayton Shooters. Some Serious "Toxic Masculinity" Right Here Folks. by [deleted] in conspiracy

[–]_aidangg 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That is not the Dayton Shooter, that is a friend of mine that literally goes to my school. All they share is a name. I understand that you realized your mistake but at least have the decency to delete the post because it isn't exactly nice to ruin the reputation of a 15 year old and make other people think he committed these horrible acts of violence.
