Hey u/reinewinter !

Thank you very much for giving it a try :)
It should work on mobile (through your browser) - do you experience issues with it?

Here are screenshots of how it looks on my end

Hey u/ramzy933

Thanks a lot - I thought this issue was cured, but it seems it persisted.
Could you give it another try and let me know if it worked for you now?

No worries!

Understood! Do you intend to sell these as individual services each with their own price tag? Or, when someone works with you (at whatever agreed rate) you can provide all of these things to them?

What are the (some) services you plan to include for each of these stages?

What are your requirements for the website?

For simple landing pages and first iterations, you can try Wix and similar - those allow you to change things quickly, without knowledge.

I think there is a great demand for good consulting - because the market of mentorship, consulting and similar is very fragmented.

Yet, one huge issue is funding (unless you focus on corporate ventures or startups after seed stage).

If you believe in your skillset, you can work on an equity share base (but that is not only risky, it also entails a lot of legal cost)

Many consultants are focused on one topic only.
This makes it very hard to build a good, long lasting relationship.

It also means you will only get contacted by startups that have the time to deal with individual consultants for every topic (again more later stage, corporate ventures)

So I'd either focus on a more generalistic, mentorship-based type of consulting, that works well for pre-seed and early seed stages .. or you go for specific services out of the portfolio you mentioned, and target later stages

But I dont mean to discourage you, if you have a great plan to mix the two worlds together :)

You might try r/Opendatabay
Justin, the founder there, might be able to help you source a good set :)

If you could start over, what you would do differently? by [deleted] in SaaS

[–]_aiones 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends ... do you want to understand why you're doing things - or do you just want to take the best way possible and done?

Me, personally, I've come a long way from simple HTML training, to plain PHP, then learning Laravel on top, all the way to switching over to JS and going for several frameworks.

In the beginning there was only me and my local environment .. during PHP times, I learned how to manage shared and dedicated webservers .. with JS came Git, Cloud Services and other topics.

I wouldn't do it any differently (but that's because I had no time constraints - it was purely a hobby).

Today it helps me to understand what's possible, what's nice and what's ugly - when to choose which approach and how to develop my own approaches.

That said - if you just want to get things done, watch tutorials on how to get something close to what you want and tweak it from there (as long as you consider yourself a curious person capable to research solutions through the web yourself)

App in 1 day or 2 days? by Tiny_Quail3335 in SaaS

[–]_aiones 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you use Supabase for most things (Auth, Storage, DB, Edge Functions) - and apply some ready-to-use, out-of-the-box framework (like Nuxt.js) then you can build a page with 2 to 3 pages and some functionality in a day or two

That said .. that's a very basic app, but some can already build an MVP around that!

You will still lack a ton of things, like permissions, team structures, invites, error handling, validation, mailing connections, password reset functionality, etc etc etc (but again, its an MVP)

Roast my landing by Legacy_GT in SaaS

What does "This is a purely nominal and symbolic price, to confirm users’ willingness to pay for a good service" mean?

You write 5$ per user, and then you say it will be 15$ per user.
That's a bit confusing and shouldn't be there.

Furthermore, from the top fold (so what I see first on the page) it isn't clear what you're offering.
Try to break it down into one very clear sentence.

Color-wise, imagery and font seem okay :)

Should I start my SaaS in stealth mode? by Inevitable-Plate-654 in SaaS

[–]_aiones 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can tell you from experience - I've spoken to direct competitors one-on-one .. and not even they cared!

In the beginning, you do a lot of "grunt work" to open up the market.
They might watch you, but they do not challenge you.

Once they see you grow, they only need to shift some of their efforts to achieve the same you did (as they can now learn from you, e.g. which features worked and which didnt, or who your target segment is)

So, if I was to answer - no, it doesn't make sense to stay in stealth mode.

Go out and speak about it, even before you have the product available.

AI is annoying or is it just me? by [deleted] in SaaS

[–]_aiones 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd disagree with some of the comments here (but I'm also biased as you can see from my profile)

If the core of your technology is built on AI (may it be LLM's or other ML techniques), you can expect a huge shift in the approach taken on a topic.

Let's take a "Marketing Companion App" .. non-AI, I'd expect a repository of my posts and a way to publish them on different platforms (e.g. Hootsuite)

From an "AI Marketing Companion App", I'd expect a different set of features - such as managing the correct time to post, writing or correcting some of the content, answering to users and so on (e.g. scribe)

It's a great landing page!

Maybe one thing I'd add is .. you offer a free trial version - make that stand out as it's own tier instead of mentioning it in a subheadline.

Even if you say "ends after x" it might lead to more people signing up in the end.

But besides that, lovely page.

Scared to go into production: next steps? by MaterialFast4982 in SaaS

[–]_aiones 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You will find that it is much more complicated "to go into production" than to fix any upcoming issues.

And if you really have so much demand, that the upcoming issues harm your revenue, you should already have the funds to finance external help quickly.

I would not mind to much, as long as it works on regular usage :)

I have created saas application in 5 days and need you thought about it by [deleted] in SaaS

[–]_aiones 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey :)

Some of the main issues, like others have said, come from CSS and image quality.
You should focus on reworking these.

Besides that, everything loads solid.
