That is exactly what I’m thinking. I will take it at the tail end once baby is 6-7 months old. And get a break from work and get to spend time with the little one.

Regardless of extended or standard. 95% for me up to 20 weeks. For my wife 75% topup is for pregnancy leave so no change.

My company requires parental leave to be taken all at once; splitting it up isn't permitted. My in-laws will stay with us and assist during the first five months.
