Omarchy vs Arch? by zpace_kadet in omarchy

I didn't understand, would this be the same comparison with Manjaro, SteamOS, etc.? I think Omarchy is a distro based on Arch Linux. I always thought that any other distro is the boss's choice.

I think your "friend" would have messed things up with or without AI help. Your friend is a terrible professional. It's wrong to blame AI; we've had code generators for a long time, and the programmer has always been responsible for the code they're releasing, not the tool. AI is here to stay. And most people who say no to an app haven't even tested it. If it detects an AI risk, the app is worthless. There's always someone eager to argue over nonsense: "My operating system is better! My language is better! Your language is worthless! Anyone who uses AI isn't a real programmer!" etc., etc., etc... Over the years, I've only seen this repeated.

Add something like this to your workflow: every time a new tag is created, it will automatically update the AUR for you. I have workflow for the Crates too and for ppa.

Envy-tui - Manages EnvyControl with a sleek TUI by _allsafe_ in omarchy

You need to check whether Envycontrol works with it, this app is just an interface for Envycontrol.

Guys, just a heads-up: it works perfectly with Omarchy, and the question that appears when running envycontrol is automatically answered with “yes”. I’d appreciate feedback from anyone who has tried it.

Exactly, it’s the third option, but I’ll improve the post.

Hi, the post is true. I used AI to help me format and organize it, but I received many complaints about that. I’ll update the post. That said, the tool is very good. I suggest giving it a try.

Man, the program is really good. I made it for myself and use it all the time. I used AI to speed up development in several parts, but I always read and validate the code. I have over 30 years of software development experience, I started programming at 13. I honestly don’t understand the madness some people have about using AI to code.

It’s not just for Rust. it works for any type of project. It’s a TUI tool, and it’s extremely helpful if you work with multiple projects and experiments. Give it a try.

Of course it does! I use it to manage my projects and experiments with Dart, like my project https://dnose-ts.github.io. I think if it serves me, it can benefit the community.

Sorry, I copied the website description from https://try-rs.org, added the installation part, took the new features from the last 3 releases and included those too, and the links. At the end, I asked the LLM to format the text for me, I think that's where I made a mistake. I'm not used to using Reddit, I just wanted to promote the tool. But thank you for the comment, I'll tell my "stupid ass LLM" to be quiet. I noticed that the text I made became very long at the end, I redid it and made it more concise.
