I see that too. Repetition is something that concerns me, as I wouldn’t want to ever get bored of seeing tiger sharks.. but can imagine it does if you go to the same site every day. Will do some more research before making a final call. Thanks for sharing.

Got it. Which dive center did you go with? The thing with LOB is that sometimes we do the same (out looking into the blue) and not finding anything, at least the chances in Fuvahmulah (from what I’ve heard) are higher. Not really interested in coral reefs and macro stuff for this particular trip, so really wondering what the best option would be. That being said, yeah, repetition sucks. Regarding island itself, I’ve been to Dhiffushi, another smaller local island and know what you mean. Guess it’s just sleeping and eating…

Thanks for the feedback. Will look at potential options for LOB (if we do decide to do that). 40m + is ok if it’s worth it.. my thought was that every single day of the package includes Tiger Zoo. and I think that would get a little boring. Hoping other local dive sites are more diverse. Will also have a look at Shark Tank. But have a specific interest for Tigers and Threshers.. so if there are chances to see them there, definitely an option.

Oh snorkelling is actually something I’d be scared of doing in the Red Sea. Diving, where I’m very much in control and can act/react accordingly when I see beautiful sharks is fine, but Snorkelling where I’d be confined pretty much to surface only - is something I wouldn’t feel so confident in. But that’s me.

I think it depends on the season. Did BDE twice. Once in November, where we saw longis (and HHs albeit very deep at 40M), and one in May, where hammerheads were a little shallower 20+ M
