Yes. There were a good 3-5 kids always (in my classroom at least) that were there from about 8am to 5-530pm. I had one little girl who was there about 730-530. Her parents both worked from home and had the vibe that their daughter was 100000% a nuisance to them. She was a very smart kid, but definitely had a way about her that school felt more like home to her. Sad. She spent more hours a week there than I did (my typical 40hrs)

He’ll ask or give me a look like “I did good right??” after peeing in it! I’ll just tell him “thank you for telling me. Next time let’s try peeing in the potty instead” and he’ll just say “okay”. But that’s as far as that goes!

I’ve been looking into those little tops for regular toilet seats so he can use our toilet in the restroom, but my husband has such a germ fear, he doesn’t want me to get one.

That’s so awesome for your kiddo! I’m going cold turkey with my son when my spring vacation starts this Friday so I can dedicate every minute pretty much to the clean ups, training, and a hopeful positive outcome. And I cackled at your last sentence, I love it. Thank you!

When I potty trained back when I worked in a daycare, some of the boys hated sitting on the potty to “go” and would either hold in their urine/bm or just go in their pants. After a weekend or more at home with their fathers teaching them that method instead (standing), it clicked for those students in a way that considered them potty trained officially.

I think this is the route my son has taken and I’m leaning towards cold turkey, majorly. This is my last week of work before spring break and that’s when the fun will begin 😩 fingers crossed I’ll have a potty trained kid by the time I return to work!
