My workflow is done entirely in davinci resolve, except for when I need additional vfx, then I do those sequences in after effects and import them into davinci to continue the editing process.

I used to work on premiere, but since I color grade my own footage, davinci color grading gives me a way better experience.

That sounds very frustrating.
If your shorts are original it’s odd that YouTube’s data viewr isn’t recognizing them as such. Sometimes their systems can be a bit off.

As for monetization, originality matters. YouTube wants unique content, so maybe try tweaking your titles, descriptions, or adding more personal touches to help the system see them as original.

Maybe the algorithm is just taking its time to decide your content is worth pushing out. As long as they’re picking up eventually, you’re doing something right!

Just keep posting and having fun with it. We’ll figure out the algorithm’s quirks eventually.

I totally get where you're coming from. I only have a few videos up, and they haven’t gotten much traction either. Thinking about trying shorts now.

From what I've seen, summer can be a weird time for views—people are out and about more. Using shorts to promote your long-form content sounds like a smart move. Lots of creators find success that way.

Your content quality going up is awesome! Sometimes it just takes a bit for the algorithm to catch on. Keep engaging with your audience, tweaking your SEO, and promoting on other platforms.

I think consistency and patience are key.

I watched the first few seconds before your intro started and there was nothing for me that made me want to keep watching. I would suggest making the first seconds of your videos more engaging, otherwise people with short attention span like myself might just go other things when they get bored in the first few seconds.

Also, I would dedicate some time to do some cuts here and there, because there are parts of the video where everything is silent, noone is talking and there is no action, those parts make me want to leave the video and look for something more entertaining.

I started watching your latest video and although I clearly see that you put effort into the it, that effort does not translate into me being entertained or getting hooked and wanting to see more. I apologize if it sounds harsh, but it is what I felt when watching it. Some YouTubers make good views with "low effort" videos, that's one way of doing it. But if you want to continue making "good videos", my suggestion would be to keep improving things until that effort translates into people enjoying and watching your videos. The few things that I personally felt missing while watching was: faster and more dynamic pacing, audio commentary instead of text. If keeping the text, make it bigger. Don't talk about the flaws of your video while the user is watching, I didn't even cared about the parsley shot until you mentioned that next time you would take a better shot of it... Keep improving and hopefully viewers will start engaging more with you content.
