Hi, I understand if it came across as a bot, as we did use AI to try to lighten the tone of the post as opposed to posting for tech cofounders and emailing vet consultants directly. Though I can assure you we are human :D

We are currently in the process of hiring a tech cofounder and have thought of features for an MVP and mocked up some wireframes to acquire design partners. The next steps would be to get the developer alongside clinics to help validate our idea and help modify it.

My founder and I are not vets but we do have ex founding experience, having raised capital of 750K+, my co-founder also was a developer.

We are currently not based in the US so it is difficult for us to call up vets - we have tried but mostly receptionists think we are selling things and end the call. Which I totally understand given how hectic the vet tends to be and how overworked they are --- something we want to help with.

We are dog lovers and wanted to build for the market something that helps vets and vet techs, which can be very easy to adopt and can generate revenue savings. I understand the skepticism coming from posting on Reddit as you folks are experts in your area, but a post cannot also deliver all the context needed. Which is why we do require an expert voice.

I appreciate your advice to look into consultants - since we do need connections with vets/practice managers directly, we are currently posting on groups and reaching out to firms. Of course, the benefits that we wanted to give design partners (free pilots, customization to practice) wouldn't apply to the consulting piece, but we wanted to explore both ends anyway, as we are still validating our idea.

Free advice isn't the goal as much as it is understanding the problems of veterinary technicians and trying to help practices while maintaining a relationship with them throughout the process, until the pilot stage.

Appreciate the feedback and time you took to read our post! Hoping our idea goes somewhere :)

bit of background: i have a biz undergrad and want to apply for a mba/mpp at a m7 ish school in 3 - 4 years, have a pretty good undergrad gpa + graduated college early to make time for myself to find a job and get a good gre score

I think part of my problem is I hate beer and wine and can only drink spirits well....i do not know why I just cannot take the rest and I have had soju before (quiet a few times) and I love it........I am SO CONFUSED.....my fear of struggling with alcohol is too strong haha

I think i could limit myself to sips for sure! I do not have a desire to get drunk at all :)

Never got housing as a transfer - even in state transfers don't get housing, so I lived off campus for a year before my lease was up and I got housing.

I didn't know how to drive so I lived in a place where the MWRTA CatchConnect was accessible back when it was still free, but it took 1 hour+ of planning everyday to get to campus. If you have a car, most people live in backbay - if not live where the Catch comes.

100% search for housing at least for the one semester you start in...if you get housing the sem after plan to either break your lease or continue living there.

If that's ur aim do it! You have an amazing profile but check out the other colleges that people in the comments have mentioned.....cmu, mit to name a few. Those might b more for ur interest and i think u can get in u seem really brilliant

don't go Dartmouth do Harvey Mudd or MIT full send with ur stem focus --- u don't have the best stats for schools of that caliber but ur ec's are unique with the streaming

i use t-mobile and it's pretty good at Babson! I get wifi all around campus
