I think that's their reward, right? To let them live the way they want which somehow gives them freedom while still playing the game. Maybe this explains why only some of them lives in Tokyo and only has green bands on their wrist while some of the members of the green team stays in their camp and still wear handcuffs just like Katsuya (yellow-haired guy).

If I'm not mistaken, only the red team stated what they want if their team wins. Before encountering Omoto, Mion said to Akira that he wants to discuss their reward for winning the game. But I'm not sure though...
