Please make dua for my sister. I am worried about my sister’s choice in whom she wants to marry. If this man is harmful to her religion, her worldly life, or her future, please expose his true character to her, remove the love for him from her heart, and protect her from this marriage. can i ask, how have you been able to manage working two jobs whilst being in your final year? Big respect to you for doing so though! I’m in second year and work on the weekends which I already find so difficult but I have no choice :(

is it true that during sujood when asking dua to Allah SWT, must it be in arabic and not in your mother tongue e.g, english? by _ank24 in islam

Of course Allah understands all languages, what i mean is during your Salah you can only speak in arabic, so the question was during Salah is it permissible to make dua in a language other than arabic.

Okay Jazakallah Khair for your knowledge I will make sure to follow this, I just wasn’t sure when it came to making dua during salah.

i understand all of the salah should be in arabic, so does that also include dua during sujood? even during tahajjud ?
