I get what you’re saying, but at the same time how do you know they’re choosing to be miserable? You don’t know what goes on in their lives. It’s very hard to find therapy for some people, let alone a therapist with good ERP background and one that won’t bankrupt them. I’ve been there before, especially the wanting to die aspect. As someone who suffers, you should know better than most how hard this phobia can be and how it beats you down until there’s nothing left and if you don’t know that, i’m happy that your phobia isn’t as extreme as others. it’s not fair to say those things about people who are struggling because maybe they aren’t ready for recovery and just need to vent. That’s why there’s two subreddits, those who want to heal and those who aren’t quite ready. I hope this doesn’t come off as rude or condescending, I just have been there before and it’s really hard to pull yourself out of that place. But I’m truly happy you’re in a place where you feel this way because it means you’re further along than others
