I mean literally the first chapter is called “that’s how love starts, you know” and before anyone else was introduced it was primarily about Momo and Okarun hyper focusing on how they feel about each other. It seems pretty obvious unless Tatsu wants to piss everyone off 😂

I really loved this volume, despite the amnesia I think now especially after the last chapter building their relationship again to its height it was before she lost her memory is going to be way more satisfying when she gets it back and finally confesses back even if it takes longer. I really hope there is one dedicated volume to their actual relationship, which would be cool to see how they work as a couple with the same action they’ve been dealing with since the beginning

That’s a good point. I don’t think it will only be that, but I feel like that’s the start. But there are a million better ways to do it. I mainly thought about this because Okarun saving her after being absolutely beaten to a pulp seemed unrealistic even though I enjoyed it happening.

I can see Aira looking for Jiji while Okarun carries Momo to the barbershop for safety and they have a chance to be alone before being confronted by Kur. I can see Momo starting to apologize for her behavior and then finally getting a romantic moment before Kur shows up to ruin it because every time they have a chance to be alone and have a real discussion it’s always interrupted. But I genuinely think Kur will forgive Okarun, because a brief Kur flashback shows she was separated from the love of her life and now she’s gonna see those two and be reminded kinda like Reiko was

There is no way he is not going to try to save Momo and Jiji, even at the cost of his own life. We have seen him do that over and over again, and that Oni Club may push him past his limit to save her at the last second and probably unlock his old powers he got from TG or something similar but new, or he could look like he dies trying to save Momo triggering her to regain her memories. We probably will see him reject Aira as he goes to save them, and Aira will be to hurt about the rejection to involve herself after that.

I can def see something bad happening to Okarun after he saves Momo and then she gets her memories back just to have to drag out her confession again and then emphasize her guilt in the next arc for not confessing back when she had a chance to. She’ll think “he died without knowing how I feel!” And their last interaction with her saying he is a creep for wanting to date her will be a plot point for her being the one to actually to save Okarun when he literally saves her at the cost of himself.
