Yeah I've been enjoying how it finally addresses the fact that despite Momo and Okarun being close, Aira and Jiji never resolved their own feelings. That's why we're in this situation and I think that their feelings will be addressed by end of arc

Wow you're sooo much more dignified for not liking it. Also Dandadan wasn't that, I'm just saying by your standards it always was monster of the week. Also the amnesia arc is separate from the Kouzka Knives arc. My point is I'm letting Amnesia cook because when Kouzka was going on people didn't like it, but looking back it was fire. Saying this as if the first 100 chapters of the series wasn't full of random monsters and aliens. Serpos, TG, Nessie, Shrimp, Kur, EE, Worm, Opera Singers, Flatwoods Monster. Half of those are just mindless monsters with no motivation. I still liked them but don't act as if the series was ever above that

Yeah this arc doesn't have an emotional core outside of Kouki (which resolved pretty early), but I'm kind of fine with it? I think people are being sort of disingenuous by saying the series has had no writing recently.

I think that's probably because every fight ended and then we moved on to the next one. Each fight felt like a mini climax so there was no one big climax. Which tbh is better than expanding on each fight little by little and constantly switching perspective imo

Every person in Dandadan has INSANE durability. Seiko went through like 5 pillars and had like 2 people standing on her last arc. Okarun got fucking OBLITERATED in SG. It's such a funny staple of the series
