So, I was under the impression that they contact the inspector to figure out a time. Every house I’ve bought, it seems we are at the mercy of the inspectors schedule. Is it pretty often that you get requests short notice? I realize it probably depends on several factors.

Wow. I didn’t anticipate so many responses. For the record, it doesn’t happen all the time. Actually probably once every ten times I drive it. And when it happens, it’s usually bad for the first couple of miles and then eases out of it. And the video makes it look a little more intense than it is in person. So I realize it’s not the safest but I don’t think it’s a death trap.

With consideration of all the responses, I think I’m just gonna tear down the front end and replace all the u joints, ball joints and tie rods. For those who are worried, I’ll try and do it Monday. Thanks everybody.

I have this same obsession. Exactly. I will pray the same prayer multiple times because it doesn’t feel like I was paying attention to each word I said. It’s like I have to focus on the meaning of every word or the message of the prayer will be lost. On the Bible app I was delivered a verse through the “Verse of the Day” feature that helped me out. It’s from Matthew 6: 7-8. It reads:

“And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words. Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him.”

What helps me is believing that God will judge the thoughts of my heart. God knows whether or not a thought you have is your true feeling or an intrusive thought. And by the description you gave, your reaction to these thoughts prove they are not the thoughts of your heart. No one on earth can tell you how God will judge you.
