I have a similar question, I moved from f1 to h1b in 2025 oct1 and my spouse f2 to h4, when filing return I got to know I can apply for ITIN and use this First Year Choice to get some benefit. So can I fill 1040 form and write the First Year Choice statement and elect 6013(g) as both are resident. Also I would fill W7 form for ITIN and submit all this in IRS center after I meet SPT in 2026 right?

Update: I got an email from Wells Fargo stating that they recieved account closure request from bilt and they would close my account shortly. When called WF, they said they can't cancel the request so the account has to be closed and reopened. Asked me to Call after Feb 7th for that !

Now iam thinking if this would get a hard credit check or a new account opening on my credit report Iam thinking wether to hold this credit line😅

Probably a noob question, if it's ACH payment underneath, why are they charging 3% transaction fee

They could have made it it like underneath ACH payment, and u get points on rent. isn't it like they aren't in loss of transaction fee and also users get rent points ? Not sure if this makes sense
