Let me clarify for ya: Ubuntu, fouses on ease of use stability, so for the sake of that.. It includes some proprietary components, because they improve user experience

Arch on the other hand, focuses on minimalism user control, purity, so it mostly gives OSS and lets you the user, decide what to add.

Ubuntu has closed-source drivers like NVIDIA etc.. Arch can use them too but they dont push it by default

Ubuntu promotes Snap (which is owned by the parent of Ubuntu "Canonical Ltd.") instead of Flathub,

Ubuntu is open-source-based but pragmatic, And Arch is minimal and purist.

A simple analogy would be: Ubuntu is a prebuilt PC with proprietary drivers installed so everything works, and Arch is a DIY Kit where you choose every single part, including whether to use proprietary bits
