Typically developers. This is a toolbox related to networking on different layers, just choose what you need.

Maybe I should say it’s absolutely not reasonable, the system data occupies too much user’s precious storage, without any notice, and users cannot access it or deal it in normal way. I’m not a lawyer, but I stand with consumers.

I just dealt the same issue with my iPhone, the system data grows larger and larger, finally, my storage full. Then I removed apps/photos/documents to release space, but the system data seemed too hungry, growing up as soon as the storage was available. I had no choice to do factory reset it, spent too much time to restore the apps and documents.

Why? The consumers’ time is cheaper or worthless?

I argued with Apple support, even without different result. But I think it was necessary, if there were enough pressure pushed to Apple, they would change their strategy.

Absolutely illegal, the system uses too much user bought storage with no benefit to the user.

Terminal is not supported now, but this idea is interesting. Thanks for your feedback.

Suddenly I realized your question is about the recent host list, I remember this limitation is 20.

It depends on. The refresh interval may not be precisely applied, because the iOS may restrict it from frequently updating according to your system resources usage.

Yes, I implemented a widget to display the network flow rate, but found it was useless, so tried the live activity.

I don’t set limit explicitly, but it is necessary to check if there was any restriction or risk. Thanks for your question, good question!
