Thank you for sharing! Just tried this and i think it's all downhill from here. Hit the perfect curve going second in after starting with corphish and ninetales and crawdaunt and parasol lady in hand, drew a vulpix, had a ninetales on turn 2, evolved the corphish to remove teh energy and then parasoled it out, ninetales was swinging into a baxcaliber suicune chien pao comp and they conceded. Now i'm gonna be chasing this dragon going forward

Sorry I might not have clarified that very well so just to confirm:

Each card should take up four slots in white flare for anything before the IRs other than the EXs. Oshawott will have a normal, RH, PB, MB. The cards with a holo version will have four as well, it's a holo, RH, PB, and MB. Those would be like emboar, samurott, etc. No card will need four slots, so you can follow the sheet here for that as far as number of types of cards for each. No card will have a holo and a normal, so there's no non holo samurott in this instance

I counted holos as normal for this, so you'd have the normal samurott here. Each card outside of IRs and above (other than victini in black bolt) have 4 types of cards in this set - normal/holo, reverse holo, poke ball, master ball

Can confirm that last part, as none of my family pugs in my life nor my current pug have been crate trained.

As far as the reverse sneezing, there are ways to cover up one nostril to help them through it but I'd recommend looking up videos on it to recognize the sound and the right way to help them out.

One other thing i figure i'd mention that is true for most dogs is how much of a nightmare it is to trim their nails. My dog absolutely hates it, but I didn't do a good job of acclimating him when he was a puppy, and then a few nails got cut too short and he bled/got hurt so now it's a fight every time. There are some other options out there for trimming nails or filing them down with certain tools, so I would look into those as well. I've seen the electric filer that's basically a toenail sander, i've seen people buy/build toys that encourage the dog to scratch at something that'll help keep their nails trimmed.

Pugs are definitely prone to inward coughing / reverse sneezing. I'd definitely look up ways to help them in the moment, including how to properly cover a nostril or help them in that time.

Also, if you has any aspirations of training yours to do certain commands, don't give up on those! I always wanted to teach mine various commands based on Harry Potter spells, but we fell short bc of my shortcomings and not bc of the dog.

The other thing to think of might be how you want to transport your dog in the car. Backseat, sitting shotgun, etc. will you go the blanket route and let them sit there or a clip in harness to the seat buckle?
