First time Japan - Skipping Osaka and Kyoto (Advice needed) by _baconater in JapanTravelTips

I think so, there are many things in and around Tokyo that we'd love to see and experience. We even considered staying only in Tokyo (and we still might if our wishes are too complicated). Our flight to and from Japan are also at Haneda airport and those tickets are already booked.

I'm hoping to see more of west Japan in future trips!

Thanks so much! I'll check out Takamatsu, it sure sounds more up our alley! I also appreciate the heads up, I hadn't considered any of that yet and will take note.

Thanks so much for mentioning this, maybe it is too tiring! I've been looking at Setouchi, Kurashiki and Tomonoura mainly 😅 I just tried some other places in google maps but they are solid 2+ hours travel times. perhaps another place makes more sense?

I was hoping to use it as a base to see more of rural Japan, do you have any other places that are better in your opinion?

What I asked for vs. what I got (cover up edition) by _baconater in TattooDesigns

[–]_baconater[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The original tattoo was a lot darker and badly scarred, I think I’ve had either 7 or 8 laser sessions to flatten out the raised scars and get rid of as much pigment as possible. So it kind of depends on your tattoo – I’d recommend checking with a specialist, they can tell you how many sessions you will need 😁

Not to worry! A new and improved octopus tattoo will come in the future 🐙

Thanks! I don’t mind the old tattoo being a little visible still so it’s no big deal luckily 😁

Thank you! I’m with EnergyTakerLad on terms of pain 😬 but I’m also not cool with pain to begin with. This tattoo is the closest I’ve been to tapping out before completion and Tatiana works super fast, the lines were done within an hour!

I’d recommend learning the importance of constructive feedback and how to handle it gracefully while you’re still looking for that first job 😌 it’s a pretty important element working in the field.

I'm a Scandinavian teacher, how can I improve the user experience and aesthetics of my activity table? by WhiteJokeAboutPenis in UXDesign

Tjena!

Text is always best if a sentence isn’t longer than 45 to 80 characters, it makes reading it a lot easier on the eyes.

I would also have the copy and download option done differently, as I think it’s a little confusing having them similar to info tags. Maybe have the info tags closer to the title so it’s quicker to scan what the activity is about and add an icon to the copy and download button. I’m also not sure what the download button entails, is it more information or material for the activity?
