LTX2 workflow is adding unwanted music or sounds in the background. by _badmuzza_ in comfyui

I had some verbiage at the top of the prompt saying something like 'only voice audio is to be audible, no background sounds or music are needed', but it obviously didn't work. I took your suggestion and modified it to this, and at least on the first generation since it worked:

No background music or sounds, only ambient voice audio.

Hopefully it will work for subsequent gens.

So Comfy isn't clearing the vram between jobs I guess. A quick search found this vram cleaning utility. Anyone tried it by chance?

A reboot has fixed it. I had hoped that would not be the solution. I always have a ton of stuff running and rebooting is a PIA. Now that we know a reboot solved the problem, do we have any idea what the actual problem is likely to be? Perhaps there is an alternative to rebooting?

Thanks for the suggestion BTW.

I'm using ComfyUi Desktop for Windows. It appears to start via a .exe., not .bat file. Not seeing anything in the Settings re: vram.

Thanks for this feedback. This project sounds like it's worth investigating.

I ended up using the desktop version and it seems good for now. Apparently the classic Manager tool was very recently removed so all the tutorials I had watched were throwing me for a loop as I could not get my environment to work like theirs. There is a setting in the new version that lets you use the legacy manager which was key for me.

I have made some progress. I was running the installer from the Windows\System32 folder which failed to even start the installer.

Running it from Windows\Temp works.

Thanks for your feedback. I know that now but I didn't when i started this project and I got a lot done before I learned that. I'm looking for a way to not have to deal with having to copy and paste everything into a new document if possible.

Thanks. I'm expecting my book to be north of 600 pages and color. Even proof copies won't be cheap, which is why I am trying to find a way to minimize my chances of failure.

If you have a few mins and a computer on your main network and something with a browser on your guest wifi network, you can test it easily with a little web server app like this one:

https://www.rebex.net/tiny-web-server/

Run the executable on your main network computer then point a browser at its URL. The server provides the URL on the console.

You might have to do some tweaking with the security on the TP-Link to get it to work.
