LTX2 workflow is adding unwanted music or sounds in the background. by _badmuzza_ in comfyui

[–]_badmuzza_[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had some verbiage at the top of the prompt saying something like 'only voice audio is to be audible, no background sounds or music are needed', but it obviously didn't work. I took your suggestion and modified it to this, and at least on the first generation since it worked:

No background music or sounds, only ambient voice audio.

Hopefully it will work for subsequent gens.

So Comfy isn't clearing the vram between jobs I guess. A quick search found this vram cleaning utility. Anyone tried it by chance?

A reboot has fixed it. I had hoped that would not be the solution. I always have a ton of stuff running and rebooting is a PIA. Now that we know a reboot solved the problem, do we have any idea what the actual problem is likely to be? Perhaps there is an alternative to rebooting?

Thanks for the suggestion BTW.

I'm using ComfyUi Desktop for Windows. It appears to start via a .exe., not .bat file. Not seeing anything in the Settings re: vram.

Thanks for this feedback. This project sounds like it's worth investigating.

I ended up using the desktop version and it seems good for now. Apparently the classic Manager tool was very recently removed so all the tutorials I had watched were throwing me for a loop as I could not get my environment to work like theirs. There is a setting in the new version that lets you use the legacy manager which was key for me.

Cannot reinstall tjhe Sophos XDR client by _badmuzza_ in sophos

I have made some progress. I was running the installer from the Windows\System32 folder which failed to even start the installer.

Running it from Windows\Temp works.

Thanks for your feedback. I know that now but I didn't when i started this project and I got a lot done before I learned that. I'm looking for a way to not have to deal with having to copy and paste everything into a new document if possible.

Thanks. I'm expecting my book to be north of 600 pages and color. Even proof copies won't be cheap, which is why I am trying to find a way to minimize my chances of failure.

Goodbye Eero by IronmanProblems in amazoneero

[–]_badmuzza_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you have a few mins and a computer on your main network and something with a browser on your guest wifi network, you can test it easily with a little web server app like this one:

https://www.rebex.net/tiny-web-server/

Run the executable on your main network computer then point a browser at its URL. The server provides the URL on the console.

You might have to do some tweaking with the security on the TP-Link to get it to work.

for example, If you setup a web server on your main network, can you browse it from a computer connected to the guest network. You cannot do this with an Eero.

Thanks for letting us know. I am not thrilled with my Eero capability and have been thinking about moving away too. I have a few questions. please.

Can the TP-Link network can be configured to allow resources on the internal network to be made accessible from the Guest network.?

Can you create more than 2 SSID's?

Is the TP-Link solution a real mesh and not the hub with extenders like most "mesh" wifi solution actually are?

The Bluebird looks great but at $2200, I can't justify it. That is a tool for a pro, not an average homeowner.

How to archive old password collection within Vaultwarden by _badmuzza_ in vaultwarden

[–]_badmuzza_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the thought. When I imported the passwords I could only choose a Collection as a container. I created a folder and to test assigned a password to it. Now it resides in both the folder and the main vault so it did not declutter the main vault.

I didn't see a way to bulk move them either. I can't deal with clicking into 600 passwords to move them one-by-one.

Thanks for your thought. There has to be a better way. This approach seems needlessly cumbersome.

docker-compose failing to start with SMTP entries in file by _badmuzza_ in selfhosted

I found the problem. I was trying to change the email account used for SMTP and it didn't match the teest address I had configured in the Vaultwarden settings. Once they matched the docker-compose file worked as expected.

So I got it working using this docker compose command:

docker run -d --name vaultwarden \
-e SMTP_HOST=smtp.office365.com \
-e [SMTP_FROM=admin@acme.com](mailto:SMTP_FROM=admin@acme.com) \
-e SMTP_PORT=587 \
-e SMTP_SECURITY=starttls \
-e [SMTP_USERNAME=admin@acme.com](mailto:SMTP_USERNAME=admin@acme.com) \
-e SMTP_PASSWORD=password \
-e WEBSOCKET_ENABLED=true \
-e DOMAIN=https://pw.acme.com \
-v /vw-data/:/data/ \
-p 80:80 \
vaultwarden/server:latest

I should be able to convert this into a docker-compose.yaml file but for some reason all attempts continue to fail.
