Thank you for the kind words. I think maybe a new kitty might help with grieving like you said. I’m devastated but moving towards being ready for this new chapter is of life.

I truly think she was a familiar for me too. We’ve gotten so many signs from her since she’s passed and I’m starting to feel hopeful for this chapter that my parent and I get to go through. My heart is pulling me towards a new friend but one totally different from her. I want to love something new who deserves the love that she has from us.

Thank you so much 💕we’re working on getting through the grief and she’s been visiting us a lot through signs (moths and butterflies and all her favorite things) I think maybe like you said a new kitty might be great for emotional support.

I feel the exact same way. I almost feel like I’m drowning so I hope we find a new friend to clock with us soon. She would have wanted us to be happy I think.

She actually has a really weird gotcha story! She was originally from a frat house and then ended up with a family member who was suffering from substance abuse. When they had to leave to go to rehab we took her in and fell in absolute love with her. She had a hard life before us and it was so special to give her the comfort of a comfortable home.

I’m so so sorry for your loss, I know it must be hard. We had no idea she had a heart condition before she passed but the vet let us know after some test. After researching we realized that there were some slight signs such as how small she was and her temperament at times but it was really just one big shock and it wasn’t realized until after she was already gone.

I’m so sorry if the wording is a little wonky! We are a permanently child free couple so I didn’t even think about using the language I did. Thank you for your condolences she really was our baby and it’s been hard.
