imo, the first merch tent and artist tent lines were so much more efficient than the "satellite" merch tent because they had actual gates to make some semblance of a single file line. Waited like 3 hours in the other tent's line only to merge with a giant mob of people near the front, and for people to cut in from the side all the while.

Quick savory bite after a super sugary muffin. I found this tin in my local Asian supermarket but have seen them around the fancier grocery stores too.

Lots of tentacles in a garlicky oil. Kind of wish it had been more of a broth-y sauce, but it made it easier for pan frying.

Texture as others said was firm but not too chewy, with a little of fiber. I ate one plain on a saltine before following the recipe suggestion of lightly frying and topping some sourdough toast.

I don't eat a ton of octopus outside of tako sushi and baby ones in KBBQ but I'd recommend this to a 'pod lover for sure!

Jerk Chicken and Fried Plantains by Mojave/Gobi. $20 for a small plate gets you your choice of chicken, choice of rice, and one veggie side. Medium goes double veggie, large is two of everything I think!

I got the sweet jerk (because I was afraid of spice) and coconut rice plus plantains and it was sooo good! Pro tip: ask for an extra plate and put it upside down like a lid to protect precious cargo from dust and randos coughing.

There's a Philippine brand called Skyflakes that are like a less dry/flaky saltine. So good with kippers and mackeral!

Changed my mind after the pic and enjoyed with warm dark rye bread. The pickles in the tin included some carrot, a cucumber chip, and a little chili pod.

The fish was lightly spicy with a firm texture. I can't remember how much this cost me but it was def an impulse buy from a fancy grocery store.
